The European Green Deal aims for climate neutrality by 2050, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55%. The primary objective is to increase by about 40% both energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources.
Both industrial and civil companies can take advantage of incentives and contribute to achieving these results, obtaining significant benefits such as saving on bills or energy independence.
CO-VER has also decided to play its part in the field of renewables by becoming shareholders in the Encore Company with assets of 200 mwp of industrial photovoltaic plants, residential installations and ground mounted projects.
“Photovoltaics is currently the most innovative and competitive among renewables. If properly integrated with the most advanced energy efficiency technologies, it can drastically reduce the consumption of energy-intensive companies and make companies independent with less need for energy input. This integration is the real challenge we are facing” explains Tommaso Vagliano, Technical Commercial Manager of CO-VER and President of Encore.
